Sweet Sisters

These beautiful young ladies have different personalities but share the bond of sisterhood.  One is playful and the other is serious and it was a lot of fun capturing them interacting with each other.  The Big Sister is a Senior in high school this year so Mom wanted some sweet moments to remember this time in their lives.

Here is a sneak peak….

Birthday pictures…

When I got the first phone call from this family to talk about a birthday photo session for a family of 5 , I immediately thought of little kids.  As a photographer, it is common to schedule birthday sessions or yearly pictures for children.  This photo session helped me step out of  my photography “norms” box.

Mr. B was celebrating his 40th Birthday!  We should get milestone birthday pictures….our parents did it for us as kids, why not keep up the tradition as adults.  This family consisted of Mr. and Mrs. B, each of their moms, and Mrs. B’s special needs cousin. What a family!!  What a wake up for me…I needed to be reminded that family is not alway Dad, Mom, and kids.  I enjoyed photographing the B family, they were fun and very loving.

Here are a few of my favorites.

The “G” Girls

These sisters were a a lot of fun to photograph.  Here are just a few of my favorites.

How long have I been a photography, you ask…..

For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for photography.  I was well into my adult life before I decided to charge people for doing what I have always loved.

Photography for me is more than a hobby and more than a career, it is just part of who I am as you can see in the picture of me when I was four years old.  See that in my hand…it is a toy camera.  It was my favorite toy and I still have it.

Toddler Cuteness….

…and it is a good thing they are so cute, especially when they do not want to look at the camera.
